\"Mortgage Fraud Is A Virus...\" - WOW!
This is a tale of several law enforcement officers who were involved in a HUGE mortgage fraud scheme in southern Florida. As mentioned in previous posts, the quick money that mortgage fraud can produce entices people from all walks of life. What makes this case very interesting is how long the scheme went on, the number of fraudulent transactions that took place, and all of the parties involved (besides the police officers).
To be clear, the jury only found two of the six officers guilty...

Mortgage Fraud - No one is exempt!
Tisk, Tisk... Here is a story of a relatively high ranking city official, who had a very admirable rise to power I might add, that fell victim to the fast money that mortgage fraud offers. Again, a pretty sad story because I'm sure she let a lot of people in the City of Miami down.
If you come across any verbiage or part of the story that needs explaining, let us know - we're here to help!

One of the larger mortgage fraud cases in recent months...
This short article provides a couple good examples of how lenders and consumers are defrauded by greedy real estate and/or lending "professionals". Our investigative underwriters have been trained to thoroughly review the documents mentioned in this article, and more, to determine the legitimacy of the documents and transactions associated with them; all done to minimize our clients' monetary losses. That aside, these fraudsters definitely got what they deserved and kudos to our federal law enforcement agencies for getting involved in prosecuting these formely "underground" white collar criminals.
One more thought - Quite a motley crew here - age wise!

This is a quick read detailing how the "Average Joe or Jane" fall victim to greed and the promise of making a quick buck. With regards to the people who fall victim to these scavengers, that's just a tragedy because their piece of the American Dream was painfully obscured. Lastly, stealing appliances, what is this world coming to?! Read the article and you will see what I'm talking about...
